Not really a SD. IMO I'd just make one these with some lumber.

For those of us aren't Bob Villa and can't make a steel workbench with shelves, drawers and a pegboard out of "some lumber", this doesnt seem that bad. Tempted to see one in person and see how sturdy it is.

Making a steel workbench out of spare lumber is easy. All you need is a sawzall and 3 jars of tomato paste.

Oh, and use glue, its stronger than nails.

Cool sounds like you got a new job. Let me know how much you charge for one of these.

I just bought a house I think its was a pretty slick deal. But its made of lumber what do you charge for that.

Cool, I make my own glue out of spare horses I have laying around ...I was hoping that Mittens would win the election and then I could sell them at a profit to the pentagon, but looks like he is losing ...

I couldn't imagine taking a piece of "lumber" and drilling that many holes in it to make that peg board....but to each his own.

The trick is to fold the wood and drill one hole then unfold

OOS or not sold around me, but I guess they still sell lumber so that I can play Bob Vila on Saturday and do what sat_sonic suggested. laugh out loud

Or maybe not. Maybe I'll still use my old bench/desk for now.

Pretty decent deal on a steel workbench, definitely. Harbor Freight regularly sells a wooden bench, that I believe is a little longer, with a built in wood vise for $130.

Yes, you could definitely make something this size out of wood for $99 or less that will be as sturdy and probably be a little longer. A full 4x8 sheet of peg board is like $8 at HD... no need to drill all those holes, lol.
