I have a question for pwcpal or anyone else who can answer.
The original early listing of points deals from pwcpal shows that the points deals are now - starting with this ad -- buy X or more of product Y and get N points. Before this ad we know that most of the deals had been buy X of product Y and get N points. i.e. prior to this ad you could buy multiples in one transaction and get points for every one. But supposedly it was to change with this ad -- so now if you buy multiples you would only get points for 1. This was all per pwcpal's early listings of the deals. (Thank you very much, by the way for all that you do.) Now that the ad is out for this week I noticed that it does not contain this new wording -- i.e. Buy X OR MORE and get N points -- but rather the ad still has the old wording. So - does anyone know the scoop on this -- will there be limits per transaction now or not? I know -- we can always try things and find out but I'd like to avoid that hassle if someone has the inside scoop. also -- this will be relevant for the Black Friday deals as well. Thank you |
Up to this point, other than Mitchum, I think, Wags has not imposed that limit. I can certainly quit typing that note, as every point deal says the same thing. . ."or more". If I do omit that info, and Wags decides to impose the limit, I can go back to typing it with each deal. So, there is no change. Every point and RR deal in these reports say that, but it is not printed in the ad, and Wags is not imposing limits at this point. I can put a note at the top of the wiki that says the reports say Buy X or more, and we'll just leave it at that unless Wags does start putting limits on these point deals. Would definitely cut down a tedious part of typing this stuff up. |

But, yes if it saves you time then leave it off. You already work too hard for us!! |

I assumed when the point deals rolled out, they would be a limit one per transaction because they had the same note as the RR's. I hope it stays this way, but who knows with Wags. They obviously have given the newspaper companies instructions to not print a limit per transaction note in the ad. |

This is a question in regards to using the AARP and purchasing $25 in one transaction:
If I purchase $25 in one transaction--was thinking of the $10 RR item, rebate item, scunci and Renu to convert some balance points into RRs-- and then "pay" for purchase with balance reward points, will I still earn the 5000 AARP points? I know I have used the AARP card and earned the 5000 points but cannot, for the life of me, remember if I had used balance points or RRs in the transaction. Found nothing in the Balance rewards thread in regards to this and since it would apply to this week's transaction, thought someone might have an answer for me here. May your neighbors respect you, trouble neglect you, the angels protect you and heaven accept you!

Quick question for you experts. I haven't been to walgreens since they started points, but the Renu contact solution deal is calling me back! We go through almost a bottle a week, and I had about 25 bottles from the last freebie sale. That one was easy because there was another FARR item to flip back and forth with. My stores limit us to one per sale, but I hit 4 each day until they ran out
Renu is $6.99 with $5 rr, and there is a $2 q on coupons dot com. Is there anything I can flip with this time so my oop is around $1 each purchase? I looked, but I'm not seeing many options...thanks, all.

Then, use those 5,000 points to buy the Re-Nu. |
