I aImost bit on the $9.99 after rebate deal since I had ~$18 in rewards expiring on Oct 31st, but read a post on another site which suggested buying postage stamps instead, so I purchased 2 books of stamps (40 total) for $18, and got a free tote bag!
No need to pay any 8.25% CA tax or worry about a QuackAfee non free-after-rebate either! Last edited by tumbenhaur; 10-29-2012 at 12:25 AM.. |

My sentiments exactly with the first few posters. Bvph, you're awesome for doing these posts.
As for the McAfee rebates, I got screwed for about $250. Buyer beware. At any given time McAfee could decided to enforce the rules again. I used to sell Kaspersky software internationally until they started enforcing regional restrictions. They went soft on that policy for a couple years but now they're enforcing it again. Perhaps it's has to do with tweaking holiday sales. I recall some effort to get back rebate denials through small claims court. Did anyone ever succeed? ![]() BTW, there was not 1 year requirement - just a restriction to 1 product per household. But I would like to know if anyone was successful in small claims court. My curiousity is more about the legal tactic and if this type of manipulation works. I believe the tactic was to make it so McAfee would rather pay out than show up to some out-of-the-way jusidiction for a small claims court appearance. |

What the hell.... no FAR? I still have $200 of rewards to cash out...
On a side note, does anyone know how long OD takes to adjust their rewards? I returned close to $200 of 100% reward items, but they are still in my account... Not complaining, but I would just like to know if they will ever correct it... |

No flyer for the week of 11/18 so no FAR software titles -- at least for my zipcode.
The Office Depot BF flyer (11/22-11/24) has one FAR title and one $9.99 AR title. No flyer for the week of 11/18 so no FAR software titles -- at least for my zipcode.
