The pro 600 I ordered is awesome. No scratches, no issues, and everything looks new. Loud as can be but that is expected since the thing is 535 watts. I have been using it to make pizza from scratch which is something I think will become really common in my house from now on.

So I got mine last night, ordered an artisan. The unit looks great, besides some scratches on the main unit from the bowl handle during shipping
 horrible packaging job on kitchenaids part...On to how the mixer runs: When switched on the 2 lowest settings, the mixer is kind of loud and kinds "growling." I'm not sure if this is normal...any insight? I def need to get the ST warranty for this thing...

just got mine in the mail! fyi i know it says it on the product page, but it DOES NOT include a pouring shield. kinda sad to spend another $20 now....

i just bought one a while ago (costco) and it came with 2 mixing paddle things, one has rubber on one side the other does not. anyone know what the one with rubber is for? manual doesnt state anything about it.

The rubber one scrapes the bowl down as it mixes, you'd want it for things that stick to the bowl. It's an extra on most of them, surprised it came with your mixer.

ah i see, i see on the box it says something along the lines pf special 4 accessory pack included.
believable i got the 6 quart version of this http://www.costco.com/KitchenAid%...reId=10301 shows that rubber blade there. thanks for the reply. |
