http://www.shopkitchenaid.com/-%5.../RRK150GR/ - ARTISAN SERIES

Many colors are sold out, try and see what you can get.

No frills standard looking artisan color left as of 7:35 pm selling at $160.99 after coupon Silver Metallic [shopkitchenaid.com]

Silver Metallic is gone.

CHECK YOUR MIXERS!!! I was giving these as gifts but decided to open and try them out just to make sure everything was in order on a refurbed unit. Good thing I did. 1/2 mixers I ordered were defective.

11/26 - 5:56 AM PST Cyber monday - just got one the new code for 30%off is pga2012 and its working!

I got one brand new Accolade several years ago for ~$150 after coupon, rebate, and reward. It is a very good unit. I think mine is in pearl white. The main difference is in the gear. The Pro and Accolade use metal gear. Accolade has been discontinued and replaced by Artisan, but I don't think it keeps the metal gear.

I ordered one of these in Empire Red last week using this coupon code - the total was $160.99, plus tax, plus two dollar shipping. I figured for this price it would be great for holiday baking.

It arrived in two days, which surprised me given how inexpensive the shipping was. It works great, looks brand new, and still has a six-month warranty. It's definitely worth it.

Did it come in retail packaging? Or was it just boxed up in regular cardboard?

Nice deal on the Pro 500 as well, after coupon code.

KitchenAid® Refurbished Pro 500 Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer
Silver Metallic - RKSM500SM

$125.99

How are you getting it down to $125.99 ? Coupon code knocks it down $60 to $139.99 Am I missing something? TIA.

Go to the home page, then outlet, then filter products for refurb stand mixers.

Thanks OP. I got the pro for $152, including shipping and taxes. Wife was asking for it for a while. Not as good as the 600 was around Christmas a year ago, but you can't count on those deals repeating. Plus there is no magazine rebate to deal with here.

It came in a huge box and inside was the mixer in retail packaging. The only thing that would indicate it's a refurb was in the instruction manual, where over the standard warranty they put a large sticker indicating refurb with the more limited six-month warranty. Other than that the packaging all looked new.

After extensive chatting with the a sales rep, I am in for 1 Artesian! I am new to cooking so this was a great deal for me Smilie If I jack it up, Its not a $400 mistake Smilie

I also looked into the pro since it was larger AND cheaper. The sales lady said that she had found it difficult to make smaller batches with the pro series. She also said that with the pro, since the head lifts and doesn't tilt, you have to sit you attachment in the batter, remover the bowl and then scrape your attachment. Whereas the Artesian's head tilt allows the batter to drip off independently while you are doing other things in the kitchen Smilie
