Yamaha RX-V571BL 7.1 Home Theater Receiver $149.99 at Best Buy B&M - YMMV

Pretty sure I got screwed. My order got filled and then cancelled for the 1612. I'm sure some employee got a nice deal. NOT HAPPY

Same thing happened to me. BB actually called me and told me it was an open box missing the remote and asked if I was still interested. I said yes but let me call Yamaha to see if I could get the remote. Within 20 mins my order got cancelled and I call the store and they have no record of having the item. I am furious right now.

my store has the v371 for 75$ is it a good receiver ?

Saw this this morning, but just bought an HT-RC330 from shoponkyo for $92, I am torned right now weather I want to upgrade to this Yamaha or not, really the only difference is 2 more HDMI inputs and 7.1 channels, plus 1 more coax digital input for $70 more after tax, no video up conversion or network capabilities from what I can tell, but those banana clip sure are better then the spring clip on the Onkyo, what you guys think, I might of talked my self out of it, lol.

It's the low end for yamaha, but it depends if it has everything you wanted, $75 for a full blown receiver is dirt cheap, I wish I have this one locally before I bough the Onkyo HT_RC330 for $92, sure can use the extra coax digital inputs and extra HDMI.

What you basically are missing between the higher end and this is no video up conversion, no network capabilities, no usb, less HDMI inputs, but works great just to output sounds, write down all the things you want in an receiver and compare with the specs.

Just saw that, I am really torn now, , wish I didn't buy that Onkyo, if I buy this before the best buy employee snatches it, I will have to sell that Onkyo, I am so lazy I still have over $500 of computer stuff that I wanted to sell and thats 3 month ago

Got order confirmation, (but not ready for pickup email) and 2 emails from paypal- 1 acknowledging payment and one stating the BB sent refund. Still no further communication from BB. Ridiculous.

What category is this under in clearance? I cant seem to find any receivers. Thank you in advance.
