The original one I did was B&H and seemed to have a different Dept code 819101172 vs 819101174... Not sure risking the $400 is worth it at this point though!

not 100% known but I have heard of people who bought 2 in same period from different stores and did not have problem. But, I cannot be 100% sure.

the new G15 is reportedly very good. Sounds like it will be better than the XZ-1 in every way. Excellent and fast lens with more zoom, better high ISO, smaller than XZ-1 by a tiny bit, Better LCD, way more manual control funtionality, better DOF control across most of it's range and no lens cap to deal with.
