Almost purchased the Antec Eco 650 yesterday for $34 after rebate, glad I waited.

Had one out many Antec power supplies go bad years ago and Antec's warranty service promptly took care of it. With the 5 year warranty I feel comfortable that should any problems arise they would be covered with the same service as I have received in the past.

I had 1 problem with dozens of rebates I've sent to Antec, wrong date on a receipt (Newegg one day sale, Newegg's fault) and when the rebate was refused a quick call and and a copy of the email confirmation and it was done. Can't speak of the new clearing house they have now, looks like prepaid debit/credit card. Would have preferred the check instead.

These gamer series psus are huge, I've bought one in the past and was surprised how much room it took up.

I have personally submitted 5 or 6 Antec mail in rebates in recent history and have never had a problem. Always get my money.

Asus is probably on my list for slowest rebate process in my experience. You will eventually get your money but it takes so long that when you finally get it, it's like a surprise. Unless you pony up the extra bucks for the priority processing or whatever, which I never do.

I would be all over this power supply if I was in need. But my current 650w Antec is still pulling strong.

Anything is possible, but most likely Black Friday/ Cyber Monday sells will be on lesser PSUs. This is a great PSU for a single mid or high end GPU build and a steal at $55.

I have this PSU. 3770k, gtx680 etc etc. No problems at all for the past 6 months.

Is this a rebaged seasonic too?
