Free 1yr Credit Monitoring (South Carolina only)
Not exactly a freebie that you may want, but thanks to the South Carolina Dept of Revenue getting hacked, you get a free year of credit monitoring. 
They don't offer up the code online from what I've seen, and you have to call a number to get it and right now the circuits are often busy. To make it easier for you, here's the deal.
The credit monitoring website is http://www.protectmyid.com/scdor.
The activation code is "scdor123".
You must provide your SSN and address when you filed your income tax return with SC. They will verify this and if there's a match, you get the free year. If no match is found, Experian will offer you the opportunity to pay for the service or decline. So if you didn't file income taxes with SC, I wouldn't bother submitting this.
