Looking to get a S3 for T-mobile with the Walmart / T-mobile onine $30 for 100 min / unlimited text / 5 GB data plan.
Best I can figure right now is Costco Wireless Advocates $150 + 2 year contract, minimum $60 a month plan. After 90 days can terminate for $200 fee. Total cost at 3 months including about $60 taxes of full phone price would be about $590 plus extra taxes for the phone line 3 months... maybe $620+ ish? Craigslist / eBay looks to be about $400-500 for the phone + 3 month at 30 dollars prepaid = $500-600 as well. Risk of buying bad hardware / gray market. It sounds like international unlocked versions wouldn't go as fast on T-mobile. Nexus 4 was tempting but if it's replacing my camera I think I'll need that SD slot. If the Nexus had 32 gb internal option I might have been ok with that, but 16 is probably just not enough for me. If someone else can come up with better for T-mobile version of S3 or has some ideas about Black Friday, I'm all ears. |

I have learned that just because 1+ rep tells you something doesn't make it true.I have: $49.99 - 600 Min any time family plan Free - My Faves (all lines) $10 - unlimited WiFi calling (all lines) $10 - unlimited texting (all lines) $10 - Additional lines over 2 $20 - 5gb data So I advise to be very careful when they promise you new plans it can take aa LONG time to get it straightened out. Had a different problem that took multiple times to fix. Know other people have had the same problems. |

Well BB had this phone at $100 a few days back and if you had the $50 freedom promo you could have had it for $50+tax (if tax on full retail price) your OTD price would have been around $100. Then you pay $200 plus $36 activation fee which puts the phone price at around $336 (excluding your first month service which you would be paying either way). |

Some stores, I'm not sure specifically about Best Buy, do have their own separate early termination fees on top of the carrier contract. But yes, the BB deal is back and $50 lower than Costco right off the bat. |

I've been with t mobile since 2001 so i got a little leverage, I will try to get the s3 for 100 and data for 10 each month unlimited, i think the s3 for 100 without any mail in rebate is easy, just need to fight for the $10 data plan, since I have been on the $20 data plan from 2 yrs ago
