Panasonic TC-P65ST50 65" Plasma $1,957 after credit FSSS from Amazon
This is Amazon's best deal on the 65" model so far - first time I have seen it below $2,000. This is better than the EPP (employee purchase plan) price even without no tax, free shipping, and the promotional credit. Amazon is offering a 2% credit (~$40) that will be automatically applied to your account 35 days after purchase. They are actually offering this credit on all TV purchases over $999. Not sure when it started or when it ends, but regardless, this brings the total cost down to $1,957.
The other ST50 sizes (55" and 60") did not take similar price reductions, so my guess is that this is a temporary price reduction. I don't think that this TV will be singled out for Black Friday (one man's opinion), but I was hoping that someone would throw in free 3D glasses or something. For me, price reduction is better than any accessories or bundled products. I've been waiting for the price to get to ~$1,800, but $1,957 seems like a good deal if you are trying to purchase before Christmas. Very torn myself... need to think quickly, but wanted to share.
