I just got $25 back from Dell for calling in to return it.
FYI guys, this laptop is also under the 30 day no hassle return policy promotion going on right now, so there's no restocking fee or return shipping if you receive it and don't like it. So I paid under $220 for a B950-driven laptop! |

Something not spoken about is power jack setup
All my gateway products have power jack issue or worse melted board in some way. Acer at least mine has easy to replace power jack you can plug in no sodering required. Someone should post the maker with most solid power jack designs.
I PITTY THE FOOL WHO OVER PAYS FOR LAPTOPS! DONT MAKE ME GO GI ON YOUR ARSE.

The good news is, you shouldn't expect any delays from Sandy -- at least on Dell's end. On the FedEx shipping side of the equation you may experience delays though if you are on the Eastern seaboard/New England. Nashville's weather is supposed to be sunny all week with temps in the mid to upper 50's. |

Could you link me to where it shows this promotion?

Looks like the price has changed or the ones available are not as cheap as what was once available? I say that because I see just two options left... one for $479. and one for $519 before coupon. The $519 one was brought down to $389.25 which is a far cry from $224. At $389.25 this is not worth it IMO.

I almost bit two weeks ago when they had the coupon but the lack of a dedicated numpad and the weird battery bump gave me pause. No doubt they are good deals if gotten at the lower prices. Last edited by bru20; 10-28-2012 at 08:59 PM.. |

I've got several on hand here right now -- I can probably tell you whatever you need to know. |
