FREE XBOX 360 & $150 BB GC Best Buy/Time Warner Cable Triple Play Offer: New Customer's 10/29/12-1/05/13

It just launched a little over 2 weeks ago.
Basically you have to go through an internal sign up system through in stores or if you can get in contact with a TWC rep whos works in a BB kiosk.

The sign up at Best Buy is not an order but a lead generator telling TWC that you want services. A TWC Rep should then contact you to complete the order

The gift card is handled by TWC and you can register from 30 days of install at twcholidaypromo.com

If you cancel the service and sign up using the same name at the same address, can you still get the pomo? Currently only basic cable and phone and would like to get in on the triple play with this promo.

has anyone who has already installed service and received the confirmation for the gift card received any information from best buy in regards to the free xbox? I have went through most of the pages in this forum and havent seen anyone mention that they have either received the email for the free xbox or acknowledgement from Best Buy.

TWC BB rep said it has to be a different name. According to her you are not a new customer to TWC. You become a new customer after 90 days without an account with TWC.

Supposedly we get an email after 15 days pf installation and activation for the xbox. Hopefully we should be getting the email for that this week or the next. The deal started 10/29 and people did not get their service installed until the following week.

Service installed on 11/1 and have not rec'd any emails for the xbox. I called (888)-Best-Buy and they gave me a case # and said someone would contact me sometime today.

The xbox redemption process does not appear to be well thought out. I'm unable to find any information or assistance on this matter Thoughts?

Did you call the BB TWC rep that processed your service? My 15th day is on the 24th so we will see, but I will give them a few days before I call my BB TWC rep.

best buy customer service says everything is handled by TWC, TWC knows nothing about the xbox and says to wait 90 days for the post card no matter what i try to tell them.. my 30 days is almost up to register, not sure who else to call at this point. may try to goto twc rep inside best buy this weekend...

Still no word from my Best Buy pending case # opened a few days ago. Also left a vm for the TWC salesperson that signed me up as well. Such a hassle having to follow-up on an email and postcard I have yet to receive. TWC & BB should be ashamed for setting up such a half assed promotion.

On the bright side, I rec'd a letter from Uverse offering a $300 gift card for coming back. No contract required. I wonder if I can get this $300 gift card combined with the $50/month discount that their retention dept offered for 1 year on my prior subscription (U300 & 15Mb - No Phone Service).

And I wonder why I left TWC so many years ago...

At my Best Buy, it was just a normal Best Buy employee that put in the order at the store.

I just got my service installed yesterday so hopefully the xbox / gift card offers come through without any issues.
