FREE XBOX 360 & $150 BB GC Best Buy/Time Warner Cable Triple Play Offer: New Customer's 10/29/12-1/05/13

Has anyone been able to return the xbox to best buy for store credit? I tried today and they wasnt able to do it. Should i try a different store?

Ordered 11/18 and I spoke with best buy for bushiness several times regarding the XBOX. I spoke to several clueless reps over the past couple of months until I got 1 who was able to take care of it in minutes. Its was not an easy process by any means but when you get the right rep the ship it out immediately.

Hey everyone! I've read through most of this thread and I just wanted to confirm if this is what has to be done. I signed up about 10 days ago, and the offer expired here in NYC on 1/20.

1) Signed up in best buy store with TWC rep on 1/13
2) Had install on 1/15
3) Should receive something on the mail (have not yet) with a code on it (regarding the gift card, not the xbox right?)
4) Register via snail mail using that code and the form from online within 30 days of install
5) Wait 2 months for xbox to arrive (do I need to do anything with regards to that?)
6) Wait 3 months for gift card to arrive

I got no information about this process from the TWC rep so anything I'm missing would be appreciated. Thanks!

I tried and it rings up as $0.00 so BB will not take it back for refund or store credit. I ended up selling it to a friend for $130.00.

Could you please share who the "right rep" is? I hope my case can also be resolved in minutes because I end up with "my name is not on the BB for business list" for more than two months after my installation.

Thats how it should work, but if you read this thread like you said you did, a lot of us here have not had the same straightforward experience. Brace yourself to tail BB and TWC down on the phone for hours for your GC and Xbox (they can both be had 1-2 months from installation date depending on your efforts to inquire and file complaints with the BBB). The reps who sign you are up are useless and you will have a hard time reaching them after you sign up, all they care about is their commissions from sign-ups). GL.

Thanks for the reply. It really does seem like it will be a hassle, but I'm hoping that since I've done it so late in the game, they have had some time to get their act together a bit. One last question about registration with the redemption code. I received mine in the mail today, and registered online. My status says "Installed....You're on your way to getting the card after 90 days" Do I still need to physically mail it in? It seems the majority of posters had to mail it in...
