FREE XBOX 360 & $150 BB GC Best Buy/Time Warner Cable Triple Play Offer: New Customer's 10/29/12-1/05/13

I signed up with twc for signiture home package on 12/14 for the $500 gift card thou i swore i heard the sales rep told me I get both xbox and the $500 gc but i called later and they said only the gc. Main thing is i still havent recieved my redemption code yet after multiple calls to sales rep, twc and the retail field sales supervisor. They just keep telling me to wait next week and that they sent an email to their superiors "escalated". But no answer for 2 weeks already. It seems they are ignoring me and don't want to even give me the $500 gc...

I wanted to disconnect the TV after the 90 days services.
I am in Southern California and am told that there is $40 fee for the TV disconnection as one of the technician would have to come and put a filter on the line.
Anyone else faced similar issue and any recommendation on getting this waived?
Am thinking of carrying my DVR box and other accessories and directly taking them to TW office and see if the services can be disconnected without the $40 fee.

my install date was 1/11, i see this now with status page:

nothing yet about the xbox.... i hope i get two!

Signed up for TWC in my local Best Buy on Nov 5. Install occurred on Nov 9. Spent many many hours on the phone with both Best Buy For Business and TWC Cable, all to no avail. Finally submitted a Better Business Bureau complaint. BB had approx 1 week to reply. They sent me an email on the last day stating they had sent me the XBox via UPS.

My suggestion if you haven't gotten your XBox yet? Immediately file a BBB complain on the 16th day after having the installation. That seems to be the only way to get them to move.

The BB customer service lady said there had been no updates from TWC as to any new installs from Jan 3 to Jan 21. Yuck!
