You would never know that it was a refurb if it wasn't for the little gold "refurbished" sticker on the bottom.

It's a great deal if you want to get into SLR photography and you live in a state where you don't pay sales tax. Most canon refurbs are practically new, so there is limited concern. The t1i is a good camera, though an older model. It is better than my original XS, which I took some incredible photos with. I'm blown away at all of the thumbs down.

Having a great time and visiting family are mutually exclusive.

At the time I posted (right when I got the email), every single item (bodies and lenses) were in stock.

Good thing too, probably would have picked up a T3i body when I woke up, lol. Stick Out Tongue

Had a T2i refurb that's lasted at least a year. No problems here. If it was gonna break, it probably would have broken in the 1st month...

They are almost always just like new and have never given me any problems. Just make sure you use them a lot in the first few months so if something's going to go wrong, it does within the warranty. Also, use an AMEX to double the warranty to 180 days.
