The body only ones or oos. How much would that lens go for minimum on Craigslist?

Just so you know most these cameras are being touched and handled by fingers that were being used to eat dead animals and what not.
Thanks for reminding me to lick all Camera grips before I used them.

Be careful, I rub $100 bills all over the grips before I sell them, so you might get minute traces of cocaine Wink

This deal sucks. No it doesn't, I'm just mad I can't get the body only. Looks like the lens won't fetch enough to make up the cost Frown

I've had excellent luck with Canon Refurb. They are almost always just like new and have never given me any problems. Just make sure you use them a lot in the first few months so if something's going to go wrong, it does within the warranty. Also, use an AMEX to double the warranty to 180 days.

I was going to post the same since I thought that was the case. But then I found this.

"•Many consumers purchase refurbished items from companies such as Apple, and American Express is the only network that will extend any manufacturer’s warranty provided with such purchases."

http://www.cardhub.com/edu/credit...nty-study/

I haven't been able to find the actual policy info from Amex for the extended warranty. The return protection definitely doesn't cover refurbs.

Does anyone know if this price work with the Canon loyalty program? Or do they give you other price in that program? Thanks.

They give you the normal refurb price - 20%. Which happens to be the exact price of this current sale. So it's the same price either way, but you don't have to trade in a dead camera for it Smilie

Thanks. I was hoping to combine this 20% with 20% from the loyalty program .

Is it worth saving $70 by buying T1i instead of T2i?

The only true difference is 24p video.

edit: and external mic jack. That's really it.
