Never seen so many thumbs down on a android phone thread... I'll give it a thumbs up because this is a great deal, no LTE, but pricing is great. It'll go well with the $30 tmobile plan Big Grin
Finally this thread is TU positive... I was wondering where all the android fans were... Nice to finally have backup on a solid phone/deal. Funny enough I like both iOS and android.

Though it has great features, I still doubt the quality of LG phones. I have returned 3 LG phones so far, LG sucks!

Funny. When people post regular priced Apple products they get thumbs down. When people post a regular priced Android product it gets a thumbs up.
You moron, it sounds like you don't even hate Apple! What's wrong with you?

LTE is awful... GSM Gnex gets almost double the battery life of the Verizon Gnex

No CDMA/LTE, no thanks.
Inferior CDMA with worse battery life and poor handoff to LTE? Thank goodness it's not included.

Sad about LTE but I need to see the screen in person. I saw one hands-on first look say it rivals htc's one x which is the best screen out currently (better than iphone 5) imo. I think I am just going to try and sell my unlimited data plan and go to tmobile $30 plan if I do like the screen.
According to Engadget on the Optimus, it matches One X except for viewing angle. As most would agree, and Endadget themselves said, viewing angle (for MOST users) is irrelevant. Those last 30* are not a decision maker.

Engadget has a podcast with like 40 minutes on the Optimus from the other week, highly suggest anyone check it out if you're on the fence about this phone. From a group of people who will pick at any flaw, their review of the Optimus had be set on the Nexus at what I was hoping to be $500, and now we see it for 300-350.

Another bright point is it has 'wireless charging'. This is my expected and no other phone has it.
Wrong. The Lumia 920 has wireless charging. Get your facts straight.

It would be great if the T-Mobile variant had 42 mbps.. but i doubt it.

Highly doubt it, unless they're offering up a different model under subsidy...
