Sometimes MSRP is a good deal... since supply doesn't always meet demand right away. Unless you thought the $100 HP touchpad was not a good deal when its new MSRP hit $100 Smilie Just sayin'... compare this to the S3, only thing S3 beats this is in LTE, while this phone beats S3 in almost every other way.
that was clearance pricing.

Manufacturer's suggested retail price could be considered clearance pricing. But either way, good point, just saying that compare this to the phones out right now, and most certainly it blows them out of the water, with the exception of LTE. I'm impressed with the pricing to be honest.

that showed up after the carrier versions.

this is being released at this price.
So basically if Google announced the price at $600 and then went ahead and dropped it to $299 it would be a steal even though its the new regular price.

The fact that this product in comparison to EVERY other product out there is about 50% the difference and this is TOP OF THE LINE in comparison has no bearing on if its a good deal or not?

Edit - Iirc didn't the N7 make FP even at $250 MSRP? I know it at least had a lot of TU.

I'm not that impressed with the phone (no LTE). Does the fact they went from Samsung to TMobile represent a step down in quality?

Maybe i'll bite... we'll see.

TU for no contract deal, but damn Google, throw a brother a bone with the mSD slot (there were rumors that it might have one)...

Yeah, yeah, cloud storage and all that crap. I've got a 32gb mSD slot on my current Android phone and only have about 2gb free. No movies at all. Some music, some pics, about 1gb of installed apps on the SD and backups/ROMs.

Seems like LG should drop the price on their Nexus4 clone...

This will hit front page when the order page goes up. Same as Nexus 7. Face it, this has almost identical specs to LG Optimus G which has the best specs for an Android phone right now.
Best specs for 1/2 the price, hell yes.

No LTE for now at least. Comparison has been updated.
When Galaxy Nexus was launch, there wasn't an LTE version either. It's up to Verizon, Sprint to work with Google and LG if they wanted one.

Do you know what is the difference between LTE and HSPA+?
Is HSPA+ restricted to just GSM carriers?

What is it today with people posting Engadget news?

Has Hot Deals become the new place to post MSRP deals because I didn't get the memo.

I love my Nexus phone and i would bought this if only it had LTE. Google is pretty good with updates and i usually get them month in advance compared to other android phones. Not a big deal unless you play around with custom ROM

MSRP on this is solid however T-Mobile contract deal is weak. Since my contract is almost up i might be tempted if i can find a phone to flip leaving me with cash and this new phone in my hand.
