This means it may be big in Europe where they don't do subsidized phones
In the driving countries of the EU you can get most top tier phones for free.

If you buy this phone, I'm sure you'll start getting the memo's...
Highly unlikely since its only confirmed as coming to T-Mobile and I have Sprint. Big Grin

I'm not that impressed with the phone (no LTE). Does the fact they went from Samsung to TMobile represent a step down in quality?

Maybe i'll bite... we'll see.
That is a great comparison! That's like going from Ford making the car to Shell.

You mean LG don't you? TMobile is a carrier not a manufacturer. LG has great hardware, it's their software which has been sucky. But LG hardware and Google Android give us the best of both world. Why they did not include a mini SD slot is really annoying!!!

Do you know what is the difference between LTE and HSPA+?
Is HSPA+ restricted to just GSM carriers?
HSPA+ is what T-mobile and ATT use for the fake 4G.
HSPA+ is plenty fast for mobile use. I get 10 mbps on t-mobile in NYC but not at crowded area full of tourist.

The only Nexus device with an SD card slot was the first one which was 4 ish years ago. That part of the phone should not have been a surprise to anyone.

Holy crap sorry about that. Total brainfart. Yes i meant going from Samsung to LG as the manufacturer of their phone.

How much MAXX HD off-contract?

If you are buying off-contract, there's no contest but on contract, i would go with Optimus G.

Apparently AT&T only supports 21, so maybe to keep costs down they just kept it 21? Not too sure, I do find that a bit odd. You would think it wouldn't cost anything to add 42.
