as a gnexus owner, i dont see a reason to upgrade. great internals, but ive read the camera quality is worse than the one i have. i shouldnt have to make tradeoffs when making a so called "upgrade". i'll pass. maybe next year's nexus.

nexus 10 however, is making me drooly. that exynos processor is supposed to be the first processor able to power a 2560x1600 resolution. although thats awesome, as a pioneer in any technology, there are usually quirks... lets see how it reviews. if it is good, it should be a better movie tablet than the ipad, what with its native ratio
Where have you read that the camera quality is worse than gnexus? Also, would want to know about the speakers and battery life.. The top two flaws of the gnexus..WinkWink

As with every other Nexus, you'll probably need root

I hope u not serious with that question
Nexus 4 vs Samsung galaxy s 3??

I am in the same boat. I feel it's too early to tell. Need to hear more comparison reviews. It seems the s3 has a slightly better camera, while the software is not the newest unveiled android .. But will probably be using the newest android soon. The nexus 4 will undoibtedly either be preloaded with the newest unveiled android or upgraded soonafter.

Also the s3 is 32 gb, so you'd have to get at least a 32gb nexus 4 to put tem on the same level.
(Actually I think nexus 4 only comes in 8gb and 16gb)

Also the details still aren't clear on nexus 4 battery life (talk time and standby) but the rumors are that it will be less than the s3.

15 hrs. Vs 22.5 talk time
14 days vs. 22 days standby time

I'm leaning more toward the s3 because its tried and tested and loved...nexus 4 is too soon to tell.

Screen timeout and notification led kind of make those features superfluous

Exactly! So I save you thousands in medical fees you'll get from stab wounds from that weird guy that bought your phone on CraigsList, and all I ask for this superior protection is only $100.

Therefore $285-$100=

$185. Final offer. Big Grin

Before your phone tanks to nothing anyway the moment Nexus 4 is released..Good luck though. Big Grin
