This software is so amazingly awesome that it will plow right along with the workhorse of a piece of software, Windoze Calculator!

On top of that it will work with the super demanding, current day, processor straining calculator "Desk Calc! [deskcalc.com]"

I use Crossover to play Starcraft I and Diablo II on my Mountain Lion Macbook Air. Great stuff!

You can try it but Parallels is much nicer and has much better performance. It might be worth it to save $30 though, depending on what you need to do.

Well worth the price of admission. I had purchased this to run Visio and other apps. I'm a paying customer but this allows me to extend my support contract for another year. Those Codeweaver guys are top notch.

For people who don't understand, Parallels virtualizes the whole operating system and runs applications virtually, while Crossover "paravirtualizes" the application and runs it with native resources.

Similar to how Wine ports applications into a "bottle", Crossover runs other OS applications in a compatibility framework so it integrates with the native OS to varying degrees of success.

Anyways, I love Crossover and still have the source files from the last time they did this deal years ago. With the previous install files you could do it on as many computers as you wanted to. I was able to run games on my OSX laptop using Crossover Games, namely Steam-based games, without having to dedicate resources to a WinXP VM via Parallels. This is the name of the game people...computer resources.

I am getting the following error when clicking on the register button:

Anyone else having same issue?
