Certified Pre-Owned (Refurb) LG Marquee for Sprint $79 No Contract (Great for SERO $40 Plan)

Sprint.com currently has the Certified Pre-Owned (i.e., refurbished) LG Marquee available without a contract extension for only $79 (or $20 with a two year agreement for suckers). The phone runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and chews through batteries like crazy (you'll probably want to install Juice Defender), but it performs pretty nicely, is very thin and has a really nice 4" screen.

For SERO users, to my knowledge, this is the LAST smartphone available on the $40 SERO-P plan without the additional $10 premium data add-on. Pick it up while you still can!

Good point. This, along with a 32GB microSD card, makes a good, cheaper alternative to the new iPod Touch.=)

I managed to pick up a grade 6 from them a few weeks ago, and aside from no microSD included, it honestly looked like it was NIB.

It was available for the past 2 weeks on sprint site

I knew its the best phone for the sprint + $10 plan

I am out of contract for the past 2 years and slept on whether to buy this one hold on to the TP and buy a new battery

ultimately,ordered iphone 5 today

heard lg marquee cant be rooted and given that its an old OS,not sure how much of an use it is

I would like to hear more..and I may still buy it and keep it handy to move to it when i gift the iphone to somebody in family(if sprint unlocks)

i have been recently visiting cowboom site.

most of the time, the pics are stock pics & very rarely are they of actual product (in my expierence).

Honestly, I'd go with either T-mobile or Virgin PP 4G plans for $30/month had I not extended my contract, since I am not a heavy user.
