Nothing at my store was ringing up at 50% off at the register (or the scanner). They knew about it and the cashier I got was aware but it took forever for her to mark every single item 50% off. But I got a little Lalaloopsy at 50% that might not have rung with Valentines (it is Valentines but I know the Christmas ones didn't ring up with the automatic clearance). And maybe a few of my candy items (none were bagged) should have only been 30% but everything was manually put in as 50%.

I was shocked to get Playdough, I look for it every year at holiday clearance time and never find it. I'll list a few DCPIs, if there's something specific I haven't listed let me know. The Nordicware was still on an endcap in housewares as were the divided kids plates with the Eiffel Tower on them. I can only assume they were supposed to be part of the holiday clearance, they usually are, and I got them for 50% off.

I think my advantage was that due to the blizzard not a lot of people were spending the last week before Valentines shopping for these kinds of things. My store had already condensed all the Valentines back to the back aisle in the seasonal section and had Easter stuff part way up.

Purple circle was ringing 50% but was not marked.

Also got reprimanded for not watching my kids close enough by a random kid-less woman who "works at the police department so she knows there are crazy people out there". Yeah because I let my kid run away on purpose.

It's weird because its the first store where I never get points. I got points at the second Target on the same day. I didn't know about unlocking, do I just need to wait a day? Also, do you stand right in the front door by the security tag monitors? I have been turning on shopkick after I walk in so I was thinking that I should turn it on just before? IDK.

I usually turn it on before I walk in the store, and it registers once I get about 10 ft into the store. Maybe the first store doesn't have their shopkick sensor turned on?

re: unlocking kicks: if you scroll through the lookbooks, you'll see that some stores will show the number of kicks in the upper right hand corner, and a picture of a lock next to the number. Tap on the store, then on one of the lookbooks, and scroll through all the screens. You'll see a little blue bar at the top that shows you how far you have to go before the kicks are unlocked. If you've already walked in to the store that day it will say "walk-in kicks available in one day", or something like that, on the store screen. Hopefully that makes sense.

Of course, I didn't notice this until I got home because I had a screaming baby with me and I was just trying to get out of there. I don't want to drive all the way back there, do you think a store near me will adjust the price or should I call the original store? Does anyone else have a store by them that is not marked or ringing up 50%? Advice needed!

Mine did not ring up 50% off either. Someone putting up Easter mentioned this so I knew about it going to the register. I told the cashier and she said she knew so she had to adjust everything manually. Took forever. I put all the Valentines stuff first so she could adjust them all. I would imagine another store would do it for you, but maybe call them first?

Mine was not ringing up 50% off, so I cornered an employee to ask about it and was told that this store was NOT marking Valentine's Day items off today and it would not be adjusted at the register. So I ditched my cart and took the kids to the T down the road, which had everything ringing up clearance. I don't know if the employee I spoke to was ill-informed, or if my T was really stupid enough to decide not to mark V-day clearance.

I have one Target that shopkicks never works in. I contacted shopkicks and spoke with store management. They're aware of the issue, ya-da, ya-da. Hasn't worked for 5 months.

I was surprised that NONE of the valentine sections were marked with a clearance sign, but all rang up at a discount. I did get the Angry Birds Kinex packets, Lego Chima and Lego Friends individual bags at 50% off!! I was happy, cheap easter fillers
