TARGET THREAD RULES:

  • Do not ask (even in a covert way) for any coupon that has been scanned or discuss any coupon that is not used for its intended purpose. This goes for ALL scanned – this is what ALTERED means – this will cause this thread to shut down, per Moderator warning.
  • Do not post directly to Ebay auctions. It is considered self-promotion because the mods don’t have a way to verify if you are the seller or not.
  • Do not discuss or promote unethical and/or illegal activities with coupons or GCs (i.e. using expired coupons, using fake coupons, etc). Do not post expired coupons. Do not discuss ways to use expired manufacturer’s coupons.
  • Do not discuss ways to misuse the true intent of a manufacturer coupon.
  • Target.com has changed to the E-Centives coupon printing system where you have to download special software that keeps track of what you printed, like bricks coupons. The coupons print out directly to your printer and now have a limit of 2 prints per computer.
  • In keeping with SD rules, multiple per pages (MPPs) coupons ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED.
  • No begging for coupons allowed. You may ask where a coupon originated but that is it. Requests for Coupon Trades should be directed here.
  • Finally - Mod Alert any fighting! The mods would rather catch it in the beginning, versus going back 5 pages to see what happened.

How do I let someone know they've posted a no-no?
  • If you feel it would be beneficial and helpful to the thread as a whole, go ahead and post an answer. But if you need to correct someone on an etiquette issue or on coupon use, try PM'ing them first. That avoids embarrassment and negative posts. The mods are watching our thread closely--we want to keep things helpful and pleasant.
Quote from Schooby View Post :
I have a request/new rule that will will need to be implemented in threads such as this from now on.

When you make a post you need to avoid doing a copy and paste of the work of someone else. It is stealing to copy and paste things directly from other sites such as the TT site.

We have been contacted by them and asked nicely to stop doing that.

If you see good coupons or deals just we love to have you share them with us, just be sure to rewrite them before posting.

This thread has been renewed to change the first post to the wiki and add 3 more wikis.

FYI (and apologies if this is repeated information): I received an auto-text today from Target Mobile Qs for a $10/$50 food/bev purchase TQ, which has a different barcode than the $10/$50 TQ I received when I text "FOOD" to 827438. From above posts I see that the coupon is also printable as well as available this week as an in-ad Q...thought maybe this tidbit (about the two mobile TQs having different barcode numbers) would be helpful for those who'd like an extra TQ but don't have the ability to print an extra one, or for those folks whose store and/or local newspapers do not offer the Target weekly ad Smilie

While we are on the topic... the barcode # for the $10/$50 grocery TQ in the CityTarget weekly ad is different than the barcode # for the $10/$50 grocery TQ in the Target weekly ad. Pretty hard to find $50 of groceries in a regular Target let alone a CityTarget once you exclude pet food but there you go...
Quote from niko2k4 View Post :
Also, as previously mentioned, there is a (heh, should be) scan sheet at each register to scan the $10/$50 coupon if the guest forgets theirs and wants to use it - so basically, you could easily do it more than once, just requesting the coupon each time.
Kellogg Family Rewards

I have not seen the boxes with the special codes yet, but Kellogg's Family Rewards has a promotion for a free $5 Target eCard when you enter 4 special codes. Offer ends 10/1/14.

Eggos are sale this week 3/$6. If you can find the boxes, they'd be a good deal to add to the $10/50 TQ deal.
Quote from Thriftymomof2 View Post :
Oh and I highly suggest you enter codes one at a time! Each time you enter a code, you can click to see if you won a $50 T GC. I entered 3 then one, clicked to see if I won after last code entered, but could not go back to the other 3 to do it Frown

The gift cards are egift cards and emailed to you. Call Kellogg's if you didn't get the email. Make sure you check spam folders too.
Price ringing up wrong at register

Quote from lagunamoon View Post :
Just got back from Target. I bought 6 bottles of Downy Unstopables. It was suppose to be $7.99 each (buy 2 get$5 gift card) but it rang up as $9.99 (I forgot to check the price during checkout). But when I got the receipt, it was $9.99 each. So, I went to Customer Service to ask for a price adjustment since the sign says $7.99 each (and I even took a photo of the sign to support me). However, the employee told me that because I use coupons, she can't. How do I get the $2 difference because that's a total of $12 for 6 bottles. Thanks in advance.

Target is sneaky.

Last time I went grocery shopping there (about 2 weeks ago) the Silk Almond Milk was marked as a Temporary Price Cut at $2.99 - I wondered if that was false advertising since I knew that was their regular price. Today I was there and the TPC signs were down - and the price is now $3.49.

I guess when we see TPC signs with a price we know to be their regular price, we should assume that the price is going up soon.

I noticed this myself about the "Was _price underneath flip label_, now _price that it was beforehand" flip labels (outside of actually working) - sort of prepping people for the change upwards of the price. Basically, if you see those flip labels with that "was _ , now _", the price is changing upwards Stick Out Tongue (Granted, I could be wrong, but I've seen this so many times...)

A friend of mine was telling me about operation Christmas child, and going to put together a few boxes this week, since its time to collect, and I realized it was this week! Anyone do this before? Trying to think of what to get, they have a list online, but wondered if anyone has done it here?

we do this every year, mostly from target clearance finds throughout the year...

I see some great advice you've gotten already,

helpful hint:
you may remove as much packaging as possible to make room for more items.
items do need to be new, but do not need to be in their packages.

also remember to include a note or photo Smilie

Guys I know this is BAD so BAD, but I want to know how to explain this situation. Somebody from my kids school who is couponing, just emailed me coupons Tide $9 Smartsource coupons and Cotonelle $7 MQ. Pin numbers and offer numbers the same. Were these high value coupons available, or they were made by somebody?
I would never use anything like this, just I need help explaining to this woman that this is fraud to use those. Please help.

Once. (And the cartwheel, while only 4 can be done in a transaction, can be also done 6 times a day, so you could possibly do 24 items in a day, if you so desired Smilie)

No books because the children who will be receiving the box most likely will not know English. The boxes will include books written in the child's language.
The kids will sometimes write back to you if you include a short note and some drawings from your own kiddos. Next year, we might do some boxes for older boys. I heard they don't get much. Any ideas for that age group? A deflated soccer ball and small hand pump is the only thing I can think of.

The other day there was a report in our local news and the reporter said that the counterfeit coupons cost billions to the manufacturers who on their turn raise the price of their product. She didn't mention it but we all know that they change the rules for using coupons a lot stricter as well.

The reporter said that there are a lot of sellers on ebay who sell you a legitimate coupon and then they approach you with a very lucrative offer to buy really good coupons at a very good price, and of course as much as you need.

Forgot to mention that I found new coupon book at Target called Happy Thanksgiving.

I can list the coupons if it hasn't been done so.
