TARGET THREAD RULES:

  • Do not ask (even in a covert way) for any coupon that has been scanned or discuss any coupon that is not used for its intended purpose. This goes for ALL scanned – this is what ALTERED means – this will cause this thread to shut down, per Moderator warning.
  • Do not post directly to Ebay auctions. It is considered self-promotion because the mods don’t have a way to verify if you are the seller or not.
  • Do not discuss or promote unethical and/or illegal activities with coupons or GCs (i.e. using expired coupons, using fake coupons, etc). Do not post expired coupons. Do not discuss ways to use expired manufacturer’s coupons.
  • Do not discuss ways to misuse the true intent of a manufacturer coupon.
  • Target.com has changed to the E-Centives coupon printing system where you have to download special software that keeps track of what you printed, like bricks coupons. The coupons print out directly to your printer and now have a limit of 2 prints per computer.
  • In keeping with SD rules, multiple per pages (MPPs) coupons ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED.
  • No begging for coupons allowed. You may ask where a coupon originated but that is it. Requests for Coupon Trades should be directed here.
  • Finally - Mod Alert any fighting! The mods would rather catch it in the beginning, versus going back 5 pages to see what happened.

How do I let someone know they've posted a no-no?
  • If you feel it would be beneficial and helpful to the thread as a whole, go ahead and post an answer. But if you need to correct someone on an etiquette issue or on coupon use, try PM'ing them first. That avoids embarrassment and negative posts. The mods are watching our thread closely--we want to keep things helpful and pleasant.

I have a request/new rule that will will need to be implemented in threads such as this from now on.

When you make a post you need to avoid doing a copy and paste of the work of someone else. It is stealing to copy and paste things directly from other sites such as the TT site.

We have been contacted by them and asked nicely to stop doing that.

If you see good coupons or deals just we love to have you share them with us, just be sure to rewrite them before posting.

This thread has been renewed to change the first post to the wiki and add 3 more wikis.

The kids will sometimes write back to you if you include a short note and some drawings from your own kiddos. Next year, we might do some boxes for older boys. I heard they don't get much. Any ideas for that age group? A deflated soccer ball and small hand pump is the only thing I can think of.
There are small games....UNO, Rubix cube, drawing materials/sketch book. We made boxes when the kids were younger. Would include a bag of hard candies. Not sure if you can still include it now. I would collect items from garage sales..... new toys that were never played with.

The "PSA" says it was a legit offer that was copied thousands of times..maybe a PDF copy gone bad?
no, it was from c.c. some people including sd'ers who just don't get it that you can't xerox unique q's, copied them and disseminated them to inexperienced q users who don't realize they are unique and it probably viraled b/c it was a freebie/mm deal.

i was in some hot deal thread last month and even 2 mods couldn't get the registered sd'er to understand that you should not xerox unique q's. some people are just so hard-headed and only want to see what they want to see and not the fact of the matter. here's a whole bunch of us including 2 mods beating our head against a brick wall here-

RECAP FOR MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2013

Today, I'm thankful for the few crosses I have to bear. They could be so much worse. And, if looked at in a different way, some of them could even be considered blessings.

Another short recap for this Monday...

CARTWHEEL (please click the arrow to view the original post in its entirety)

Tried the deal today and scanned all the bottles. Every single one of them rang up $9.99. Easy fix at the register though. Was weird as I saw on the aisle shelves, the tag said $7.99 and $5gc WYB 2. On the endcap, there was the same setup, but the tag said $9.99 and $5gc WYB 2. Same dates and all.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but a good buy on L'Oreal shampoo and conditioner.
$1 TQ L'Oreal haircare item
$2 MQ in the 10-27 RP and 11-10 RP
Makes it .99 for shampoo or conditioner and my store had travel size bottles attached.

Also, as previously mentioned, there is a (heh, should be) scan sheet at each register to scan the $10/$50 coupon if the guest forgets theirs and wants to use it - so basically, you could easily do it more than once, just requesting the coupon each time.
Thanks for the reminder about the scan sheet at the register for the $10/$50 TQ! Unfortunately, as a few other posters also mentioned, my Target seems to always be a day late & a dollar short (he he) and doesn't have them available at checkout. When I mentioned that other Target stores have them available to scan for customers without their own coupons, I got a "look" from the cashier as if I'd just said for her to give me all the $$ in her till, followed by the comment "that would basically be the equivalent of giving away merchandise..." ! (Where is the emoticon for "beating my head against the wall" when I need it?!? Lol).
Yeah, my Target staff just cannot grasp the concept that coupons do not equal profit loss...Niko, will you please come work at my Target and whip these slackers into shape?? Just for a day... Smilie Smilie Smilie

I know some people were asking about scenarios with using the $10/$50 Grocery TQ. Here is what I did on Sunday....it wasn't the best trip ever, but between my super-hyped up toddler and pregnancy brain, I'm not complaining about the total. It's stuff that we eat all the time, so it's not wasted food or anything.

I listed the MQs/TQs with the products I used, and then the "dropped" coupons at the end. The BOGO Pillsbury Heat-n-Go auto'd at $1.18, even though the packs were only $0.99 each. The $1.00/2 TQ for the Smuckers PB was an insert coupon, I believe (got from a coworker). The -$10.00 is the Grocery TQ, the -$3.00 is the $3/$15 Frozen Food TQ (NLA), and the 2 -$1.00 are TQs that came out of the CAT machine that my cashier scanned without me saying anything (therefore I have no clue what they are for, sorry Frown ). I know others asked, and no, the $3/$15 Frozen Food TQ did not go through without beeping, but my cashier entered it as a store coupon. I only included it to test the waters, so to say Smilie.

And, I completely forgot to use Cartwheel, so the total should have been another $2 or so lower Frown. Hopefully when I go back tonight I can get it fixed, if not, oh well...that's what shopping with a toddler will do to ya sometimes!

Hope this may help some people at least start to plan their trips! I have a few more trips to make this week, and I'll post them when they happen Wave. Good luck! Blowkiss

ETA: Food subtotal was $60.55, which does NOT include the Reach or Viva Towels Smilie. I just included them so my spreadsheet matched my reciept. Good looking out Tn worship, hope I didn't confuse anyone!

Thanks for testing. The $3 and $5 do not work with the $10 and just a $50 purchase, even with $25 in frozen. It comes up with a screen saying items already used for another coupon or something like that. I tried twice and it was a no go for me.

Hmm, I wanna check T's "low pricing policy" but the link from FP may have expired. I no longer see it on their official site too.

I bought a few sweaters last week and they've gone further on sale in this week's ads so will they just do a price adjustment if I bring the receipts in? I already gift wrapped the items and would be a pain to redo. Do I really need to bring in the items as well?

2 1/2 Eagle Brand Target printable (2)
3 1/2 Kellogs Cereal Target printable (3)

Don't those target printables state "Limit one coupon or offer per guest"?

How are you getting your cashier to break Target's coupon acceptance rules?

Not to be the coupon police, but when you buy 3 Kellogg's and 1 milk (for free milk), you shouldn't use additional MQs on the cereal.

The Free yogurt wyb 3 Kellogg's and Free produce wyb 3 Kellogg's should each have 3 boxes of cereal to buy them.

I am surprised that noone mentioned the great scenarios that can be done with 10/50 target food and all the kellogs coupons we have on kellogs website. So here is what I did once last night and plan on doing couple more times this week.

6 Krave Cereals 2.59ea = 15.54
2 Milk Gallons 3.69ea = 7.38
2 Fresh Strawberries 2.59ea = 5.18
2 Dannon Drinkable Yogurt 2.49ea = 4.98

4 .75/1 Krave cereal MC (3)
2 .70/1 Krave cereal MC (1.40)
2 $2 off fruit wyb 3 cereal (4)
2 $2 off yogurt wyb 3 cereals (4)
2 Free Milk wyb 3 cereals (7.38)
This is waaaaay too many coupons. This combo of food/coupons needs 18 cereals.

TNNative is correct, however I know it's always subject of debate like using a $1 coupon with a BOGO type coupon, so I left that part alone. But this deal absolutely should have a minimum of 18 cereals.
