Assassins Creed III (Xbox or PS3) $48 + Free Shipping

is anybody else stuck on the powder kegs in sequence 2?

i read the ubisoft help page about this issue and i'm aiming directly at the powder kegs on the ground but no matter what i do it's NOT letting me shoot. the aiming circle remains red. i've tried changing my tools around and everything...

i've aimed around the entire scene and still can't figure it out.

very frustrating. i'd warn others to stay away from this game until this issue is solved. and yes, i did download and update the 17 MB patch as soon as i put the game in

So I pre-ordered Assassins creed, but I then bought from Walmart on release. The problem is that the title on Walmart edition has Walmart edition printed on it, and it has a different UPC code on the back. My question is would I be able to return the newegg copy to Walmart?

I have been playing AC ever since the beginning. I love them, with that said they aren't worth the $60 or even $48. If you wait prices will drop. I picked up the latest version this past summer for $10 at BB. It's worth the wait.

Try add 3 of the exact same game (even same platform) on target.com website and u'll see that the 3rd game is free. It will work.

Target also price matches other competitors.

Little Kids, first of all this is SLICK Deals. Last year 2011, for Black Friday Bestbuy had Assassins Creed Revelations for $35 and it was less than 1 week old. AC3 will be OVER 3 weeks old until BF. GO and CHECK SD BF ads and SEE how it was really $35. why on earth would anyone WASTE about 30 bucks to play the game 3 weeks early? So:

1. it will be $35 or less on Black Friday GUARANTEED
2. go ahead and waste your money and buy it for $48
3. but dont encourage other people to waste money like yourself
4. im laughing so hard at anyone who cant wait 3 weeks for BF

yes we realize its SD, ive been on this forum longer than you have, so no need for the patronizing tone.

its a $13 dollar difference... over 3 weeks, so you're paying $4.33 per week to play it at launch. Technically if you buy it at best buy and PM to frys if possible... you'd get it at $49.99 and a $20 reward cert. Assuming you want to buy other stuff on BF at best buy, its technically like getting it for 29.99. People get to talk about the game at launch and play it in case they see spoilers on the internets.... so thats worth it too i guess

I am personally going to wait until black friday, although history tells us games that launch close to BF do go on sale, there is no guarantee unless you have seen adscans.

and if you wait on BF assuming you dont get in line at B&M which is gas money and probably going to take 2 hours of your time it automatically cancels out the $13 benefit of waiting. if you order it online you have to wait another week for shipping.
so its $3.25 per week since launch that you pay to play it earlier.

i'm not doubting anything you said about last year. HOWEVER this does NOT guarantee anything for this year. just because something happened LAST YEAR with a DIFFERENT GAME does not mean it will happen this year. i'm not saying this game won't go on sale in 3 weeks but you CANNOT assume these things. it's absolutely illogical.

i'm tired of people talking about past deals on this forum and complaining. those deals are DEAD.

unless you can PROVE to everybody on this forum that this game will be cheaper in 3 weeks stfu.

second of all people mention PAST DEALS because we compare with FUTURE DEALS. only a true Moron doesnt research how Ubisoft games PLUMMET in price after launch. only a Moron doesnt check Slickdeals.net PAST threads on Black Friday and see how the LAST BF had Assassins Creed Revelations for $30-35 and that year ACR released ONE week BEFORE Black Friday. AC3 is releasing THREE weeks before Black Friday. i will laugh all day long at people who say here where is your GUARANTEE. its an EDUCATED Guess i made based on Price History of AC and Ubisoft titles which tank in value very fast especially on BF.

dont waste your money like others are telling you to do. they want to spend more and feel better when other people also spend more. these are the same people who come back later and COMPLAIN and POST "damn i just bought this game 2 weeks ago for full price". they TRY to convince themselves that spending more is WORTH it but it is not.

i myself will pay no more than $30 for AC3 on Black Friday, and that game doesnt deserve a higher price. but thank you OP for alerting us to AC3's release and imminent price drop on BF.

for the sake of you coming back and being a douchebag i hope that AC3 is $31 and you don't buy it since its not $30.

and again, that two hours you lose buying AC3 on black friday waiting in lines or the $2 shipping you pay+ 1 week of waiting... negates the guessed $18 price difference( assuming the game is $30).

Game prices are dropping very fast this gen, you might as well wait for GameFly to have a sale at $17.99 based on your logic. Itll probably be a 4 month wait, thats 16 weeks to save assuming the price is $29.99 an entire $20. You'd be benefiting an entire $1.25 saving per week to wait.

Edit: its not a mistake to buy the game at launch at $48, an entire $12 under MSRP, those people aren't MORONS, they're just willing to pay $18 over a "GUARANTEED" $30.
