FYI, I bought one of these and sent it back
its a cheap plastic case with a very thin strip of aluminum glued/molded on the back offers little protection from drops but may offer scratch protection for the back of phone the cheap plastic on the sides killed it for me

aluminum cases are bad for reception. it's like antenna gate all over again. found out when i was researching aluminum bumpers on the forums at macrumors.com.

I don't understand people spending $600+ on their phones and skimping on the case. Invest $40 now in a good protective case and your phone's resale value will be double when you're finished with it..

These are great for shielding your phone from radiation, like the kind that comes from cell towers, wi-fi antennas and GPS satellites.
Seriously, I was just talking to someone, yesterday, who was relating how metal covers will drop a couple bars on your signal. |

I don't get why people want thinner , lighter phones and care about how it looks yet they just cover it up with a case and make it thicker and in some cases heavier.
I get that they don't want scratches or what not but why care if a phone is 5% thinner and 5% lighter? Also, people say a phone is ugly or looks good, but end up covering the phones with cases and you can't even see the phone's actual body. |

I wouldn't trust a $4 waterproof case on a $700 phone. If you're going to buy 1 anyway, make sure you try it out in your sink with water filled to the top. |

people should be careful buying these unbranded cases with no reviews, regardless whether they are shipped from hongkong.
you'll probably get what you paid for. |
