Running refrigerator, and various other devices right now because of the hurricane on an inverter.
I'm using a 1000 watt hooked to the car battery directly. Important thing to note is that you really need direct connection to battery. Lighter plugs are not going to cut it when trying to run higher watt devices. P.s. Just bought one...Can't beat the price. Last edited by spikey911; 10-30-2012 at 03:37 PM.. |

I have one of these, great price, not a bad unit. Only complaint is that the cigarette lighter portion breaks easily so be careful and is expensive to replace unless you can build that part yourself or find a slickdeal on it,
