You might get access to early versions of the OS updates via the SDK, but that's about it. If you want "free" hardware, you usually need to attend developer conferences, which carry hefty price tags, so if all you want is the phone, you're better off just buying it. |

I will accept this offer only if they give me a win phone 8 license and a monthly fee of $50 for being the Win developer :-) Who the hell pays for MS to develop for their OS?

apple does the same thing to sell in their store and you're competing with 700k other apps. $91 off $99 is a slickdeal. if no one else wants to dev for windows phone or windows 8, i'll take their share of the market. +1 and rep
