went ahead and bought one of the vertex 4s from tiger using google wallet. wouldnt give me the free shipping and had higher tax...but im going to email in the morning and see if they will adjust it for me....im sure they will get a few emails.

Took a few mins but was able to checkout through Tigerdirect. In for 1 vertex 4 and thinking i might need a part time job to pay for bills after monday

I was able to order the vertex 3 120 from tigerdirect using google wallet. It came out to about $58 after shipping.

OCZ Vertex 3 120gb @ $50
OCZ Agility 4 256gb @ $100 which is the better deal? I dont need more that 120GB but I could use the extra if the Agility 4 is better. |

I'm one of those that tend to try my luck even when people warn a product is faulty. I've purchased 4 OCZ drives over the past year. 2 continue to work, 1 died after a few hours of use, the other died about a week after use. Even if the OCZ 512gb were on sale for $100, I would pass simply because the risk of losing all my data and the time for reinstallation (hardware, os and software) is too much.

New to all this SSD stuff so would be thankful if someone could help. Is the Vertex 4 256gb at $159.99 a good buy or should I wait for a samsung 830 at a similar price? In my short research, seems like people say the samsung is more reliable.
