Hopefully, the new drivers will eliminate the issues with black screens. In for one. I'll grab the games on sale later.

Dang, I need a new card for my i5-3870k build (using 9800GT now). This would've been slick but yeah, most people posted on feedback that they had black screen issues. That's a deal breaker. Sure they might update drivers at some point and when they do and if it fixes the problem then that's when this would be a good deal, but not until then.

I just grabbed one - 6% failure rate due to noise in ceramic capacitors -
http://translate.googl supposedly fixed on the new ones- question is this a new one or not. I will try my luck and if it sucks I will RMA or if I see a better BF deal I have 30 days 50/50 on whether this was a wise decision but it is a good deal on a 7870 and I doubt you will find this card cheaper any time soon It will replace my 6950 on my new build that allows for PCI 3.0 and the 6950 will replace a 4830 on my older build that is running a 27" 2560 X 1440 Shimian which should see a significant performance increase. Dang. Almost wish I could have gotten this rather than the 7950 I picked up last week. The 7950 is undoubtedly the better card, but not by much, considering that I game at 1080p.... and I really don't care about the games it came with.
