It is different as the OP pointed out as it does not require FB. A lot of people hate FB and won't deal with offers on it. However, I went into the account where the card was linked to the FB offer and tried to add it and it say I already applied for the offer. Another Amex card not linked to FB did not have the offers at all.

I only had the costco offer on 1 card on my account. Each card had a different set of offers, some none at all. Im not sure on authorized users as I do not have any on my account.
