Got the lightening deal on Amazon for a $70 canon last week HOLY COW. No more nonsense with ink jet drying out since I randomly print nothing for 6 months and then print 20 pages in 1 month.

There are some OEM non-USA cartridges out there that may or may not work so you are better off sticking with the genuine product. The genuine product costs an average of $125 which means your end cost to print a ream of paper is $12.50. = not such a good deal after all."

After messing with "refilled" cartridges drying out for my deskjet I just ditched, I'm scared to death of 3rd party cartridges. I cannot afford to have it cease to work just because I went 3 months without printing. Is that a possibility with "compatible" toner?
