Hey we can all speculate just as well as the next. If you were so great at it you'd be a billion/trillionaire by now. No need to discredit anyone on predicting stock prices, their guess is as good as yours.

you're right, but as they say, in the short-term the market is a "voting" machine but in the long-term, it's a "weighing" machine.

I've sat out of AAPL for awhile, but recently have started nibbling the upper 500s on the way down.

AAPL is yesterdays fad. Its over. It's currently going under re-evaluation, just like GMCR,NFLX,FSLR,(Any hyped up stock that falls out of favor).

First it is slow while the smart money drains out, then with each bad press release there will be gap downs. There will also be many bull traps along the way, suckering "knife catchers" back in.

My trading account has banked 80% YTD playing those stocks. So much candy to take from the big babies who love to buy and sell at exactly the wrong time. You know you're onto something when you tell your friend you bought NFLX at $53 and they tell you you're an idiot.

Don't be surprised if AAPL turns and runs hard to the upside right here. Sentiment is awful, almost hated at this point. Beautiful. Just needs to break, retest and hold it's descending resistance trendline.

No hedges. History will tell me if I'm right. This is just me speculating in the value garden.

Didn't expect a new year's eve bounce on the last day to lock in profits for 2012 Perhaps the captal gains selling finished early?
