Just FYI they expect you to tip - last time I went for something free I was politely reminded by the cashier to tip based on full cost of service.
] EXACTLY, don't bogart the stylist's time. Tip him or her as if you paid for the full priced service the same way you do when you go to Denny's for your free Birthday meal. Especially in this economy! You're getting a major free service and free can of top shelf hairsrapy and the Stylisy is hoping to get repeat business out of a non-paying appointment time she could have gotten paid for. At least tip her/him!
BTW - If they even do get an hourly wage it can't be that much. I thought only the cashiers and non-stylists were paid by the hour?
Don't the licensed stylits have to rent the chairs there as they do in all salons?
Even if they DO get paid an hourly wage, the standard tip for good service at a hair salon is NOT 15%, it is 20% because they have to pay for the products they use on you. Really. And, they must pay for their own equipment. I'd be happy to pay 20% of $50 for an Updo that would normally cost me between $120 to $200 at any "real" salon.

Should I post this mag offer Test: 1. If deal requires you to have to write cancel on an invoice or risk getting sent to collections - it is not free and shouldn't be posted so DO NOT POST 2. If deal is for a sponsored sub, you sign up on the form, you get the sub for free and never have to write cancel on nothing - POST THE OFFER
