What precisely were you expecting for sub $15? Amazon has 2, count 'em TWO whole reviews.  You'll get your $13 out of it. If a low end sander won't meet your needs, it doesn't matter what the reviews say. I'm with Bluesman, the reviews are decent for what it is, which is a darn near disposable sander. Donation is the Alpha not the Omega Lifetime member of the Daisybeetle fan club. Her kindness, attention to details, and the overall epicness of her deals have my toys for tot's pile STACKED!! I currently have a Black and Decker "mouse" sander. It is very small, hence the name, does not catch dust, needs sand paper with velcro so it can stick to it, and the velcro part that goes on the mouse has some sort of glue to attach to the sander...so pretty soon the sand paper and the velcro with glue both fall off the sander, and with all the dust flying around, the glue won't stick any more...so you have to buy that thing too...
Compared to the mouse, THIS sander looks like a Bentley in my price range! In 4 1. One day I will catch a deal b4 its over.....

If you don't expect to use it very much, then yeah go get one. It will help on small jobs. If you plan to do any kind of sanding, buy a decent random orbiter sander. You will not be disappointed and it will be well worth the $50-$60.
