Shop Discover Holiday Cash Back Bonus is Live

Great. Stack with the 5% Q4 CB too.

any idea how long this is running for?

Last year it ran through the first of the year. There were many more stores participating last year too. No Target this year, and Sears was 15%.

Is there somewhere that is stipulates they stack?

so HD with 10% back, discover 5% back, HF 20% off coupon, and vet 10% discount. Stuff is almost free.

I wondered this too. I called, yes called lol, and asked. She broke it down really easy for me. The shopdiscover % is totally different from the bonus on my account. As an example, she used my Sears order. I got back 1.53 on my $15.30 toaster oven (a slickdeal post of course). It's already posted. She told me the 5% is factored in on the billing/closing date cycle. At that point, the % back would kick in for my statement.

It was funny... at the end she said "There are deals to uncover when you use your Discover."

I do like that they have articulate, US-located support. Impressed so far (I am a newer Discover member).

Discover is irritating. I have never once gotten any "cashback" for using the ShopDiscover site. It always gets canceled because I'm trying to stack it with other offers (like discount codes for Advance Auto) which they point to "cannot be combined with offers outside of ShopDiscover).

I would like to use my Discover card more (put ~$9k on my Discover card this year vs ~$35k on my Chase Freedom card) but Chase is tried and true (and if I complain it is fixed in minutes) so I tend not to use my Discover card except on the quarterly promos. I've "earned" less than $70 in rewards on the Discover card this year but I often earn that each month with my Chase card.

I'd like to use my Discover card to get the 10% off at Macy's (5% at Chase Ultimate Rewards) but I'll probably default to my Chase card.

So does this mean we can't use a coupon code when checking out and still earn the Shopdiscover bonus? It seems kinda hit or miss depending on the store and promo code. Any other experiences on this?

It sure better! I used it on loads of lightning deals over the past two weeks, instead of the 3% cash back Chase Amazon VISA I would normally use. I know there is no ShopDiscover cashback for Amazon, but it certainly should qualify as the current quarter's "online shopping" category, since it only exists online.

I was wondering the same thing. I have only gotten one email from shopdiscover from staples yet didn't get one for another staples trans, walmart, advance auto, finishline. In all except Walmart I used a coupon code. Now when I go to the help center to inquire about it, they ask if you use a merchant discount which I've never seen before. I almost always use a coupon of some sort and have gotten the cash back in the past.

Not sure about the Discover shopping site, but I have experience with another similar thing. Was told by a vitamin company that if I used a coupon code found ON Memolink, when I shopped thru the memolink link, I would get points for the purchase, but if I found a coupon code on the internet elsewhere, or got it in an email and used that, it would void any points earnings.
