Yesterday I actually tried using some AS5 that is about 6+ years old. It must have dried out as when I tried to spread it out on the heatsink, it was like working with a piece of gum. I removed it and just used the compound that came with the heatsink instead.

I haven't gotten mine yet, but unless it comes with a paddle and specifically says spread it out, I believe I am going to use the pea method placing a rice grain sized dot in the center and let it spread on its own. Any thoughts?
I need to wait for similar deal on mobo combo memory. Not in a rush.

Besides Formula 7 being difficult to spread, how MX-2 compared to Antec Formula 7?
