I currently have 8gb of the Kingston KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX and want to bump to 16gb. Would I have any issues with mixing in the KHX16C9B1RK2/8X even though specs appear to be the same?

Why do people run virtual machines so often these days?
Because I wanted Apple hardware and OSX but the compiler infrastructure I use for my research is [natively] supported on OSX, and runs under Linux?

You sure about that? Why question yourself?

I bought the 8 GB G.Skill kit for my laptop 10 months ago and it has been running smoothly ever since then. Apparently if you ever want to run CHKDSK you will need at least 9 GB's of Ram Smilie

I did not look up the specs on these, but if they are running the same speed at the same voltages, then I don't think you should have any issues mixing them.

I love the ballistix stuff, I threw it in my ITX build, nice and short, and it just works flawlessly!

Hoping I can stick 4 of those 8 gig sticks in my XPS 17. Dell says no, but Dell says I only have two DIMM slots and I have 4 lol. Found someone who claims if you've got a 2nd gen i7 then you can get up to 32 gigs. Fingers crossed
