I have been able to get access to the NEW FedEx shipping option.
The Rates are fantastic.
Unlike UPS which gave you discounts based $$$ SHIPPED, FEDEX Is offering discounts for even $0 shipped.
Played around with some addresses and weights.
11% discount - low weight residential.
37% discount - high weight residential
very good discounts on expedited services as well.
We ship about $500+ per week with FedEx. The discounts being offered are in some classes of service BETTER than we currently receive.
Best part is that it will be billed monthly.
Instead if FedEx direct which is weekly(for us).
Needless to say we will be negotiating NEW Lower rates with FedEx
Well it's good news and bad news for me .. Good news is that next year maybe I can save a lot for shipping.
Bad news is I guess I have to wait until next year since Ebay is just testing it right now, even though a I spent hundreds on FedEx shipping each month for Ebay sales. With the holidays coming up - I feel like I'm losing out by not being offered this option yet.
Does anyone know if you use a coupon on an item in store if it would invalidate the deal? For example, if I buy item #1 at $40, item #2 at $60 and use a 20% off coupon, if item #2 was advertised at $50 would I get $10?
Well it worked for me and could'nt be happier!!! Booked my flight in 11/1 for $150 and it dropped on 11/3 to $85.50! got a credit for the difference in the flight from jetblue and got the pricematch deal! Basically paid $36 bucks for the flight! Cant get better than that!!!
Will the following disclaimer void most all online ads:
The printed version of the Non-Auction Internet Advertisement must include the merchant’s Internet address and customer service telephone number, as well as the item, including manufacturer, model number, sale price, and date of publication
Does the above have to be printed on the ad??? I have not seen too many non newspaper ads with all that info on the same webpage as the ad. Most of the time you have to click on the ad to get the particulars. And customer service is not something I usually see under the ad. Much the date of publication for something online????
PayPal is getting competitive for the holidays. The payment service will refund customers up to $1000 if they find that an item purchased through PayPal is advertised for cheaper elsewhere during the holiday season.
From today through Dec. 31, PayPal will price match your purchases with a limit of $250 on a single item. "If the item you purchase is advertised for lower with any merchant within 30 days of purchase, you can receive a reimbursement for the difference," Lombana writes. "It doesn't matter if you bought the item online, in a store or a new item from eBay's Top-rated sellers using "Buy It Now". And get this - even airline tickets from the same carrier that drop in price within seven days of your purchase are eligible for price match."
The company will also pay for return shipping, limited to $100 total and $25 per eligible item, and offers six-month special financing on purchases of $99 or more (pending credit approval).
