Call another CSR or ask to speak to Supervisor. If they are saying 600s, tell them to prove it because without a deal made, there is no Time Warner channel on DirecTV. The only currently have Fox Sports West/Prime Ticket which shows only Clippers games.

Took your advice and called back. Had to push it as he kept giving me the shpiel about how they're still negotiating and should be resolved shortly. blah blah blah...Long story short, I got $16/mo credit for 12 months on top of what I got from the Viacom issue a few months back. Thanks for reminding me to be persistent

Anyone that failed to take advantage of this deal is to late now. DirecTV has finalized a deal with Time Warner to carry the Lakers on the Choice package tier or higher (basically every tier with the exception of the most basic).

Well, I tried garner some more discounts and argued with CSR for about half hour and couldn't squeeze blood out of this turnip. So I asked to talk to their supervisor and argued with her for 20 more minutes and she told me I already have the discounts maxed and if she gives me more they will fire her. lol
I currently have $75 in discounts and will loose $20 next month. I'll have to wait until then to ride'em for more.
