Two Roundtrip Flights (50k Points) with New Southwest Airlines Premier Credit Card Approval for $2000 Spent Within First 3 Months

I applied for the card this past January. I was wondering if I had my wife apply for this card now... Do you think if we spend $2,000 within a week we would get the points before the year is up? Or do they wait till after the 3 month period and then give you the points? I am about 30k points away from companion status and was wondering if I would be able to get the points this year so I can get the status all of 2013. Thanks in advance

If I had this Southwest card for a year but just cancelled it last month, am I eligible for the bonus again if I sign up? I still actively use a Chase Sapphire Preferred card. Reps to the answer!

When it says 2 round trip tickets, can you use it on yourself and a companion?

you get a companion pass right? if so, don't get it done this year. get it done next year so the pass is valid 2013 and 2013..if you do it this year, it will only be valid through 2013.

You can't transfer points but you can redeem for Amazon gift cards.

My understanding is you have to get 110k within a calander year for companion status correct? If I don't get another 30k before the end of the year then I will have to start over and get 110k in 2013. If I am wrong about this please let me know. Thanks!
