Discover card Purchase Protection for installed/cut door?
I bought a REALLY crappy but expensive door at home depot. I got it cut, installed, hole drilled- obviously - and see that a crack is developing in the door knob hole because the inside of it is made of cardboard. The guy that installed it did a great job, though.
How can I word my claim to increase my chances of purchase protection coverage? I know that wording is a tight-rope with these claims agents and don't want to put my foot in my mouth. I figure they will assume the installer is at fault or that I was negligent.
Thanks for any ideas.
