Good price on this adapter. I wonder if anybody's had both to compare the reception between this and the Samsung one.

I have both (RNX-N1 and WIS09ABGN) and they each work equally as well. The main difference is RNX-N1 doesn't support 802.11a (not like anyone ever uses that) and the official Samsung one has dual-N bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), whereas the RNX-N1 only has one band (2.4 GHz).

Samsung came out with a cheaper wireless adapter to replace the WIS09ABGN that was recommended as compatible on a lot of B, C, and D series models.

The new adapter model is: WIS12ABGNX. It costs about $40, which is still over double the price of this on sale.

I would highly recommend this, especially at $16, as it's rarely ever this cheap!

I must have the WIS12ABGNX then. I thought I got a bargain getting it at $40 from Fry's. Turns out it was regular price because it was the lesser Samsung model.

I got the WIS09ABGN on clearance for $22.48 - 5% Target Card = $21.35 + tax

I thought it was worth a few more bucks because of the dual-N band. But the RNX-N1 at $16 is definitely a great value if you want to add wireless to one of those WiFi ready models. It usually hovers around $25 to $30.
