I was at SW Houston Frys. The Sales Rep said they were out of the LG 47". I asked for the 55" which he showed me but strangely enough said that "it isn't the best tv". Somehow he wasn't keen on selling one to me
![]() I am considering jumping on this and I would have if I had seen as much enthusiasm for this as for the 47" earlier in the day

Thanks for that. Yes, I guess I didn't read any reviews yet because I wasn't considering it seriously anyway

Put the LG LM6700* next to almost any TV..... and hands down the LG's design is a better looking TV (remember you have to look at your TV while it is off also)
The LM6700 is on the lower end of LG's line-up.... so don't compare it to "higher end" models. There are a few things I don't like about the picture quality on the LM6700..... But I have to remember that the things I don't like about it can be remedied by me buying a MORE EXPENSIVE model...... * The "LM" 6700, 7600, 8600, 9600 all the same silver design.... The 6200 & 6400 have the same design except they are in piano black. |

I got the 55LW5300 with 3-D Blue-ray player & 4 pairs of glasses for $900 shipped on Amazon last year & I thought that was an amazing deal! I'm very happy with it! It's not a wifi tv but I love being able to play all the movie formats from my thumb drive! This is a great tv for a great price!

Even at the high end of things...the LG's dont compare the Samsung and Panasonics...AND with that the LG is typically 20-25% less than those brands as well for a comparable model With one small disclaimer... I haven't see the full LED back lit 9700 model in person Their last full back lit TV's were very good and WAY cheaper than the competing Sony model Unfortunately their screens were like mirrors and the 3D was awful on them Frys has LG deals each week |

Bought this yesterday in Downers Grove. $889. Display there looked terrible, got it home and adjusted the settings- much, much better. Also bought a 3d Wi-Fi BD player for $60.
I will post a receipt for price matching tomorrow. They also had some manager specials with the 55lm7600 (I think thats the right model) with cables, a 3D BD player and the warranty for a decent price. Just under $1500 iirc. |

Hey guys, I bought the panasonic 55 inch TC-L55ET5 TV couple weeks ago from Frys. I got it from this thread. Since Frys has 30days return policy, I was wondering if I should return panasonic and get this one instead. What do you guys think? which one is better? Any ideas?

There was NO restocking fee. When they asked what was wrong with it.... I simply said: I didn't like it. |
