Apple iPad Smart Cover Tan $13.98 @ target B&M

Thanks, I'll try this out later. My current black smart cover is falling apart and definitely not paying retail for one again.

Got one!

First store said no because it was clearance.

Second store was OK with it.

Both stores had no idea how to price match online and weren't trained. They had to make phone calls and go through manuals in a binder.

I never knew Target B&M price matches target.com.

I tried it in the past and they always say no.

No GO for me.. 4 target person discussed it over at the guest service... i was GOOD to go at 1st. until 1 lady pull out a file of paper.. saying it can price match sale item ending .98 cent.

Just bought 2, different colors even. Saved 5% with my target card too. Screaming deal!!

I got 2 yesterday , then came back again , this time I asked again to PM the tan color then I told them I would like to get different colors as well so they did PM the black and navy for me ! It so cheap , thank again , repped !

No clue how you were able to score so many covers and also swap colors. The target by my house was by the book and pointed out the fact it was clearance and out of stock. Same with the one by my work. Tonight I went to a location by my uncles restaurant since it was next door and I scored the tan cover. When I tried to score a second the rep said yes and once we brought the cover up front they pulled out a new excuse. One price match, per item, per day, per customer. I thanked them for the cover and was on my way. I am glad you were able to score so many and hope you are giving them to friends and family. eBay value is 25-30 and after fees, shipping and time not worth it.

It's hidden in the ipad case. You have to ask them to open it up.

As posted earlier, I purchased a navy leather cover without any problems. I went back again a few hours later with my gf since she wanted a cream colored leather cover. The electronics dude handed the customer service personnel the cover and she immediately asked if it was the $14 price match and rung me up quickly with no further questions. She most likely recognized me from earlier when she also rung me up for th navy cover. Try again tomorrow morning at your local targets and hopefully theyll let it slip since not many are aware or the price matching exclusions. Heck, you can even try to price match any of the Apple cases and not just the tan leather cover and walk out with any for $15- assuming they don't pay much attention to the description on your phone except for the clearance price. Or take your receipt for the tan colored cover and directly exchange it for another color, that is a possibility.

thanks for the info and I might swing by the one close to me and use my receipt along with the screen shot on the phone to pick up another one. I got one for free from apple with the ipad 3 deal and the leather for $13.98+tax. I am set on smart covers but would like to pick up an extra to give to my sister in law and maybe one to an old boss. If target is willing I would like to buy smart covers for Christmas to all my friends and family

Was able to PM to Walmart. Picked up tan and black. My local target refused to PM even tho they had the exact one in stock because its clearance but Walmart gave me next to no hassle.
