Not trying to TC, but for reference I purchased this one at walmart.com this morning:
Christmas Tree Link [walmart.com] It was $45 online, with 10% Discover. OP's tree is taller, larger base diameter and many more branch tips than the one I bought. The Wal-Mart version is pre-lit however. I'm amazed at how simple it was to plug the three parts in, fan out the branches and plug it in...sure is nicer than the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree we had forever  Picked it up today and it was up and running in just a few minutes. Now just waiting for the boss (aka wife) to get home and see the surprise! Anyway, for the quality of tree, the Fleet Farm is an outstanding deal if you want to decorate a tree yourself. |

Nice try, but going from 1,026 tips (Fleet Farm) to 600 tips (Wal-Mart) is a big deal. Pick this one up while it lasts. |

And this is my tree last year. . . it's 7.5 feet, but it's got 1100 tips, so it's close to this one on sale.

AWESOME deal TU. Just ordered the Mrs one and she should be happy. I hope the quality is good as well, nothing worse than a tree you can see through. Also thanks to daveatx for the heads up on the hand warmers qualifying you for the free s/h. Now I will have warm hands and a new tree this year.

Problem with pre-lit trees are when one section goes out. If you have your own lights, it is a simple matter to get another string of lights and restring the tree.
