Will gamble and return if it doesn't work. Definitely needed a second cable for car as the GPS drains the battery so quickly.

If this one has Amazon Prime and allows free return for defect, I'll get one. But now, I'll stick with genuine Apple accessories.

It's not amazon prime.
Another note - I ordered only the cable, not the car charger. And the price was $8.95 each. I hope this clarifies things up a bit; not done by me. (I've had enough non-Apple devices to be annoyed at all the different cables out there over the years, even within the same brand)

Not complaining about the change- I like the new configuration. What I do not like, is shelling out $300 for a phone, and then having to shell out over $70 for adapters for my accessories. It is the cost.
