Panasonic Plasma HDTV Prices Thread

So the morons at panasonic epp canceled my order for 55st50 because it was backordered too long. I went to best buy and had them pricematch. My chase freedom is 5% cashback for BB this month so I only lost on an extra 5% from shopdiscover. They also sold me 2 pairs of panasonic glasses half off. Sick tv. Watching it now.

Should the heat coming from the TV be of concern? There is a lot of heat coming from both behind and in front of the set after being on just a short period of time. I don't feel a breeze or hear anything to indicate there's a fan built in. ?

Strange. I ordered mine from EPP Tuesday morning, and it shipped tonight.

How many days after it shipped did they call you for delivery or how many days after it shipped did it get delivered? I'm curious because I'll probably order mine during an upcoming vacation week but I'll be away the first few days so I don't them trying to deliver while I'm away. Also what state do you live? If you live in a different part of the country than me then the shipping/delivery times may be different. Thanks in advance.

I thought I had read that Amazon was going to do price matching through the 31st of January, so they wouldn't be dropping prices much. Guess this disproves that theory
